With an email alias you can direct the emails that come into your domain to any of your POP3 accounts. Example: If you setup a POP3 account for joe@your-domain.com, you could setup aliases for sales, webmaster and info. Then when an email comes in for sales@your-domain.com, webmaster@your-domain.com or info@your-domain.com it would be directed into the joe@your-domain.com POP3 account.

You can forward or redirect any of your emails to any other email account on the net. Example: You could forward all email sent to jobs@your-domain.com to go to your AOL.com email account.

An email autoresponder will allow you to send an automated email message to any customer that sends an email to a particular email address you set up. For example, you can have it automatically send a price sheet when someone sends an email to prices@yourdomain.com. This feature can save yourself a lot of time and revenue. There are no restrictions of use.

For every email alias you want to keep separate, you will need a POP3 mail account. For example, you have five employees that you want to all have separate email addresses. You would then setup five POP3 mail accounts for those five employees, which will then keep each of their emails separate. The first portion of an email address, "someone"@yourdomain.com is called an email alias. Each service plan comes with a certain number of POP3 mail accounts.

You can set any one of your POP3 accounts to be a catch all email box. This means that any emails that come in that you do not already have a POP3 account, alias or forward setup for would go directly into the catch all email account.

This feature is an additive to the autoresponder feature explained above. This will allow you to have autoresponders, but you will still receive the emails that the customer sends to the autoresponder address. This can be helpful when you want to do a follow up, or if an employee is on vacation, etc.

With your email control panel you can easily add or delete POP3 accounts, aliases, forwards/redirects, autoresponders and mailing lists.
