need to use a SSL (Secure Socket Layer) server. All of our world class service plans include the SSL feature for free! This will allow you to secure any directory, web page or shopping
cart system through our secure server, with no restriction of use. Our secure server also works with our shopping cart and most standard ones. Our secure server uses
128-bit encryption technology to ensure complete protection of your customer's information.
You will be allowed to use our shared SSL server, but if you prefer to use your own certificate, then you may do so. The only difference in using your own certificate is the web address, as the
protection and security is the same. There are many certificates available online such as:
- Thawte
- VeriSign
- Equifax
There is a $25 one-time setup fee to install a certificate onto an account. The url to secure your web pages would be in one of the following formats:
